Not to argue with you, but when has story telling been solely veridical? The purpose of this story is not just highlighting "fetishy rape", but also how it alters your foreseeable future, and the emotional ties that remain weft into your skin, again this doesn't have to be realistic. I can tell you're younger, which isn't a bad thing, but starting off your comment with a derogatory statement, degrading those who may or may not enjoy the content of their own choosing, by insinuating they've never experienced assult trauma is lunacy. The point isn't to consistently create something that is realistic, or entirely relatable, if then why would anyone choose to create fantasy literature, or just non-fiction? Also, as someone who has experienced a considerable amount of sexual trauma in the past, it isn't something uncommon to move on, and seek comfort within that last bit of contact with the individual. It displays your ability to move on, and ardour to better yourself, despite the fact this wasn't your fault. Geom displays this in the final scene with Ryder, which I happen to relate to incredibly.

I forced myself to finish this bcs I NEEDED Geom to be happy. Its a very real story, I feel like while the scenes were disgusting and very apparent, the author is an exceptional storyteller, Geom’s character was something everyone needs to see, especially after the state of the world is. We owe to Geom and many others like him. I didn’t mean to sound preachy but since I guess I am already I will add another note, silencing about SA in literature is not the way to go.

Also important to note that as much as I don’t agree with sex work I also can reassure you that it presents itself in multiple ways and not all of them are sex trafficking + non stop raping like you are a war prisoner, mangas like this help spreading the concept that anyone engaging in this IS going tru the worse possible experiences ever and has a zero support network, it’s not always like that. Overall this manga does more damage than good, overlooks a lot and does not does any justice to victims of SA, you can see author did for shock factor and only someone under 25yo would be shocked or see this at anything more than trauma porn. Oh well enjoy your 50 scenes of gangrape and 2 scenes of actual sex
