i have always been team kaede cuz of their chemistry and how sweet + the amount of effort kaede puts into aki and their relationship even tho he can be bratty, he put a lot of consideration and time into how to be a better partner and friend to aki and just seems to genuinely be in love with aki more than the rest
i do like the backstory tying the two together but i wish that wasn't the trigger for aki to realize his feelings rather the story could've dove more into their present dynamics and how aki appreciates kaede's gestures and want them to only be for him instead of him just saying so at the end ((then we also wouldve gotten a longer ending :3 ))
