You can hate characters and hate a situation and express that and still overall enjoy a story. I hate Grindelwald and all he does but I still watched the fantastic beast series and enjoyed it. You don’t have to love every second of something to love it. People can leave when they want to and can stay when they want to. You aren’t the enjoyment police.
Well you do realise that most people experience sunk cost fallacy while consuming media right? You can really like something and it starts going downhill so you give it chance after chance until you eventually reach the path of no return and sunk cost fallacy keeps you there. You want to quit but you can’t because you put so much time and energy and effort into it and if you quit now, it’ll all be for nothing and you would have wasted all of those things in vain. Sunk cost fallacy is a real thing and basically affects every human on the planet at some point. And yes, sometimes it does feel like a gun it to your head.

The hate for this is so hilarious. Don't let the door hit you on the way out
