Even if he invested time, money , effort or affection, gram wasn’t ready. None of that would erase the shitty things top did. I do understand where the top was coming from with the not being secretive about being gay. He was in love and wanted to brag about his partner. Coming out as a couple should be a choice made together not by one person. It just sucked that the way gram came off was not the best either. Yes he is severely traumatized completely understandable. No one should feel obligated to come out or accept hand outs . Plain and simple i wont justify the top and his actions. I will say my heart does ache a little for both Especially since they obviously still love eachother Gram for not feeling like he has control or boundaries in his life and the top for changing so much and it still not be enough to erase how shitty he was in the beginning. And his attitude problem.
as a woman i too have cut off my family for my wife .I didn’t care if i am the black sheep. I would take only having her over family ties any day. Hell i was even super religious and became the lost cause sibling. Neither of our families attended our wedding because it was an abomination and offensive to god. I dont go to family events or have many ties with the life i had before. I guess what im trying to say is that if you meet the right person . Shedding your past becomes easier so you can become a different person. I hope we dont get a stupid chase arch . Accountability needs to be taken seriously on the tops part and apologize.he needs to take things at grams pace. gram needs to decide what he wants for himself. The top obviously wants to settle down. So what does gram truly want out of the relationship. Can he settle down with previously straight person. Im still rooting for them!!
