I 100% agree with the manipulation pattern, but I think the main thing that they both are upset about is the being open w their relationship. In all honesty Jaehyuk is right, he shouldn't have to hide who he is and who he's with. I understand Garam is scared that what happened before is gonna happen again but this time he has Jaehyuk to support him unlike how he only had himself last time. It really does just seem like Garam is pushing the same ideals that were shouted at him onto Jaehyuk and doesn't realize it. He needs to open his eyes to their situation and realize it's not the same scenario as before (which mind you was when he was a minor compared to now). Just saying I really think Garam needs to grow a par rn!
Yeah, I agree on this part too. Garam needs to acknowledge Jaehyuks side. It's just scary to think that in a world full of people who have a closed mind about homosexuality. It's terrifying for a college student who doesn't have anything on his name, can eventually damage his student image and of course his future. But I guess it's all fiction. It's all in the mind.
I kinda agree with Garam. Because I know a lot of people that would gaslight and manipulate you all through out the relationship because of the "sacrifices" they made for your sake or your relationship sake, they say. Which is kinda restricting if you are in that kind of relationship. It's scary and degrading. Cause they would always bring it up to invalidate all of your feelings just because they choose to sacrifice things you didn't even ask them to do. Like that's how manipulation starts.
Not that I'm saying Jaehyuk is like that, but as we all know the trauma andd fear of Garam. I kinda understand him on this part.
