If JY wasn't a happy-go-lucky type of guy, that chapter with him thinking that CH was cheating on him with the CFO wouldn't fly.
And honestly, I feel like it would've been better if it wasn't resolved as quickly. Alternatively, I think JY could've been mad at him more.
Imagine: JY: "Are you cheating on me with the CFO?"
CH: *laughs*
JY: *is hurt and confused*
CH: *does his typical horny shit and explains nothing*
JY: *hits CH*
CH: He's my brother-in-law.
(here's the change I would've liked to see)
JY: What? That means you're the vice president's son... *starts thinking that he BARELY knows anything about family, and starts putting two-and-two together about how he got his job*
CH: *whips out dick*
JY: *for once, he isn't in the mood for sex and wants to be left alone to wrap his head around the information and rejects CH*
Then JY starts thinking about how CH literally gave him everything, which isn't a bad thing, but at the same time he has no independence, he never earned anything himself, and if one day CH decides to break up with him, or maybe his fam is against the relationship, JY will have nothing and everything will fall apart.
While CH says he didn't tell JY about his fam stuff because he has nothing to do with them, he is still using his fam's money all willy nilly. (Which he has rights to, ofc coz dad is obliged to provide for his son, but that's also ties CH to his fam)
JY doesn't like CH's answer coz it HAS something to do with JY himself now. He's an employee of that company, and makes the golden boy title true. That will probably give him a little bit of something to be conscious about. It's also the very same money that bought them their penthouse, food, trips, and other luxuries.
Not sure how CH will react to this new instability to their relationship. Maybe he'd start walking on eggshells and tries to apologize to JY and reassure him, or maybe he'd let his possessiveness control him and make it worse.
Either way, I think having a little bit of struggle makes it more interesting (coz I like angst lol). Just a thought.
