But he could have talked it out...he shouldn't have walk out from this problem by thinking what he was doing is right without understanding JJK's feeling. Like JJK said he will be quite about the relationship for now but it is not practical to be hiding all their life. I understand that Garam got first hand experience about coming out but Garama situation was totally different, it wasn’t only coming out but falsely accused of smthng he didn’t do. If he knows he is not ready now, he could talk this out because JJK was ready for it. But hiding this all their life eventually will take a wrong route.
I agree they should've spoke but the final ultimatum didn't make it seem like Jae would be quiet about it. And ofc not the rest of their lives but they're in university only like early 20s. They are still young and barely adults. Jae didn't even give Garam time to process potentially coming out. Coming out in Korea would come with some negative impacts even if he wasn't accused of anything. From a real life perspective anyway. Obviously this is bl.
Jaehyuk was literally homophobic at the start meaning his friends probably are too and he wants to go share something that isn't just his to share. His parents are rich and if anything happens he has so much to fall back on. Garam doesnt have that. Gay relationships are not as accepted in Korea than the western world. Especially being in a university, it can lead to bullying and attacks etc. Even giving such an ultimatum is a manipulative tactic in itself. So stupid.
