i’m not christian but my mum&sister are christian’s they don’t think like this atall,i talk about anime,manga etc all the the time with them,both are huge supporters of Lgbtq+ aswell. some religious people use religion to be hateful it’s disgusting.

Think about it like this, the bible is like a manga, the contents of it is a story, fiction or not, lies entirely to the reader to interpret. In so, they apply everything they've read to reality causing their logic thinking skills to be of the category of "slippery slope".

As a Christian I think is anime not demonic being watching from since I was a kid and my mom is the same ᓀ‸ᓂ. She also thinks that anime is demonic and I have repeatedly told her it isn't. I have been to church so many times and never heard the pastor said the anime is demonic. Something is also wrong with your mom why the hell would she say that you are possessed because you are depressed? That's just stupid of her to say that lol.

I do believe they may think like that due to it being heavily over social media and they could just be mistaking it for hentai. Which in that point I would see my mum being unhappy about that but again it’s ridiculous to say it about every one. That's true because of social media they may think that it's demonic . Everyone has their own beliefs but that doesn't mean you should say things like that to someone. Everyone is different and like different things.Their opinions doesn't matter if you like something and they don't that's their problem not yours. I need an opinion from a Christian. So my mother is Christian she has been for about 7 years, my whole family is aswell, except for me. Now this isn’t an issue and I of course respect my family’s religion but my mum says some stupid things. She told me that anime is all demonic, trans people are being possessed by demons and they touch children. She infact told me I was being possessed by a demon when I was depressed???
