Yep guwon is the key in here, obviously. For what I understand guwon is like those text book kid who know everything but never experience it. So I assume why he interested in jinwoo now is after he know that peaceful sleep he never experienced. That maybe if he keep jinwoo around he will "teach" guwon more of those feeling.
Definitely let the author cook, regardless guwon is really interesting character ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
1. I agree that ruthless measures are needed especially in an apocalyptic background, but the doc and the girl are right, these are human beings that are ALIVE!! he treats them like livestock, he kills people who aren’t “useful” and he shows no remorse for it, I understand that like “oh well you need that ruthless leadership!!” but at the same time you can at least acknowledge that his actions aren’t cute and they are actually horrible, I’m not dropping this yet because I still think that yes, he seems very uneducated on feelings and whatever, but at the same time he’s like a big baby throwing a tantrum when people don’t listen to those rules. killing people’s for breaking a singular one? I understand what what the kids dad was wrong, but his child was literally dying, Guwon didn’t let the doc take card of him, the doc literally said that patients were slow?? how many people have gotten untreated because of the lack of medicine. I get it too, they were running low and so unless it was an emergency, but they should’ve at least had checkups? like doc would check up, give advice what they could do without medicine, and possibly see if these symptoms got worse.
2. I’m pretty sure Guwon isn’t dumb… like he just plays this persona for teach and the others so they don’t disobey him?? okay so he asked teach what sex was, but he knows what cum means??? he threw up right after he first kissed teach, he said that he’d kiss him if teach wanted, and looked very disinterested in him. I just think what led to him being more intimate with teach was that he sees a potential in him that he doesn’t see in the others? I’m not exactly clear as to what it is but it’s just what I feel like? and what I’m seeing? I kinda skipped over stuff because idk the sex scenes are just kinda weird? teach will clearly tell him to stop or slow down and he’s not listening? but then he acts sad or he immediately listens to teach when it comes to something else??? idk my standings on this, again I’m not going to drop just yet bc I think it can have pretty good lore and a great background, I’m just not sure yet… gonna let the author cook
