This manhwa is following a novel lol. As someone who has read the entire novel more than once, they even shortened some arcs (like the Ban Hwi Hul arc) so don’t complain too much. Also, we’re nowhere near the end

I think some arcs could have definitely been erased (like the Ban Hwi Hyul arc, since it doesn’t develop the main cast at all), but the dating Yeodan arc could NOT have been skipped. Idk if you’ve read the novel, but even if you’ve read the manhwa, you should be able to tell that she’s learned so much from being with Yeodan and grew as a result (she will also come to realize something very big soon lol but no spoilers). I def understand the frustration with how long this manhwa has been ongoing, but to me it’s not like those others manhwas like Lookism or I Love Yoo that have definitely lost the plot and you don’t even know what’s going on or where the author is going with them anymore.
Uhhhh idk the names of the arc so I’m just gonna name (from memory) what’s going to happen until the end. Obviously spoiler warning:
Yeoryeong and Eunhyung will kinda stop being friends (but outwardly they both won’t let it show to others) cus Yeo will come to know the Eun loves her romantically and she associates ppl that love her w ppl being fake and approaching her with hidden motives, which she hates
The Jiho, Chunyoung & Ruda chasing arc ??? Dan-I will come to realize that those 3 are in love with her, and then they will all confess to her and she’ll tell them to give her some time to figure out her feelings. I love this arc the most, they are so many heart-fluttering moments as they attempt to flirt with the her.
The Yeo & Eun dating arc lolol, they’re both complicated people but so cute. Yeo eventually starts to like him too, but it takes some time and it isn’t immediate. When she realizes she loves him, she just immediately blurts it out to him LMAOO. But Eunhyung doesn’t believe it anyway it’s complicated so it takes some time.
The changing world arc ?? Idk how else to call it but Dan-I, with the help of Noari (the author) will figure out a way to make her stay. This arc is long and complicated, and along the way, the 4 heavenly kinds + Yeo come to find out that their world is a novel.
So much heartache happens too.
The new world arc. Dan-I is forgotten ONLY by the 4 heavenly kings and Yeo, I won’t say why but it’s related to the heartache I mentioned before. She has to become close w them again otherwise she’ll disappear for good. It’s the last arc.
Also those arcs don’t happen one after the other, sometimes they’re all happening at the exact same time.

Ngl but she could have js skipped their lore bc we are all sad since they are not the end game.
