I was thinking the same thing, like why can't we just have characters with the same age, physically and mentally paired together. She did not need to be 300 years old. She could've been a ghost kid and it still would've been interesting (no: i was a 35 year old before I ended up in a kid ghost body - still weird in my opinion)
