It's a pity that the English name localization erased the uniqueness between the title, the tattoo, and the main couple's names... The tattoo features the sun, moon, and star because the MC's name has the character for star, 星 (xīng), in “Xingcheng,” while the ML's name has the elements of the characters for sun and moon, since 明 (míng) in “Youming” comes from the combination of 日 (sun) and 月 (moon). The title 明日星程 heavily references the couple's names. It's common in Chinese fandoms to create ship names like this, with the seme/gong's name first, followed by the uke/shou's name. How does English name localization explain all of this?
