I think it’s just not hitting for you and I’m sorry to hear I find the characters endearing enough to wait it out and there is a balance of goofiness to the sorrow so we just gotta believe. Also clown always super in love with his angel so it doesn’t feel shocking to me they’re fated without the official string that seals it just need to know how it’ll end and see them happy they’ve suffered for lifetimes
