The MC seems to absolutely HATE using the System. Or the Author just DOESN'T know how the System can be implemented to the story better so the Author just leaves it alone and makes the MC poke it with a stick once in a blue moon.
I'm convinced that if the Author just throws out the whole "System" thing out the window, this would have been a more tolerable read. But no! We have to sit here and watch as our MC go though hard way instead of actually taking ADVANTAGE of the system that was given to him! It's insufferable! I had to sit thought chapters yelling in my head at the MC to just, use, the, fucking, SYSTEM.
It's like the Author didn't know how the System could be used or what could it affect in an Apocalypse. And I know, the Author probably didn't want the system to overthrow the downsides of an Apocalypse because having everything in the tip of your hands is boring to read BUT STILL. AT LEAST IF THE MC TAKES ADVANTAGE OF THE SYSTEM, WE CAN MAKE THE ARGUMENT THAT THE MC IS JUST BEING SMART TO SURVIVE BUT WE CAN'T! The MC doesn't use the System as often as he should have!
Also the setting is ACTUALLY kinda good. How would a Zombie Apocalypse do in an ice age? I was actually interest in the title alone since I'm SUCH a sucker for Zombie Apocalypse stories. And the premise is actually similar to a part in "SSS Suicide Hunter" that I've read, though it was short. So I was looking forward to reading this!
But not only did the Author failed to deliver the entire premise itself, they also failed to do characters! Almost all the characters that are shown just acts like a typical stereotypical NPC, heck even our MC acts like an NPC at times! At least there's some characters that isn't so bad BUT THE ENDING, BRO DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE ENDING.
ANYWAYS, summary of my comment: System wasted, why is there even a System? No thoughts on how the system could affect this story and how it can even be used. And no thought towards the plot nor premise.
