I also really like the angst to keep things interesting but goodness the drama has to make some sense, otherwise the story just descends into trash and you can't even take it seriously anymore!
The problem here is that this story was over a long time ago... These two already made their journey, got married and settled down. The fact that he's now run away from home, vanishing for months without saying a word and cutting ties is simply ridiculous considering their relationship at this point! Whatever threats they made to him, there's no excuse, it just doesn't make any sense. This only distorted the characters nature and ruined the story... If the author wanted this they could've just worked on another manhwa!

Yeah noT^T I like my angst but they have to make sense or maybe, not in the expense of charac writing. Writing angst just for the sake of it is not good writing I fear

I agree, it may have been best 2 just write this story with new characters... It feels different for me because I'd only ever read the story up 2 a point and never finished. I figured everybody lived happily ever after and I wouldn't have to :) So 4 me the story and the characters feel familiar, but new. But, for fans who know the story so well, and love the characters--It must feel a bit like you've been ambushed since we all thought that the story had ended already.

When I saw that it suddenly had new chapters I just had to peek. It has angst, misery, and mystery. Like wtf happened to Bom!? Did gramps have him tortured? Did he tell him lies? Was he brainwashed? Or was it something less dramatic, which would actually be worse, because that means Bom really did have a change of heart?!? Anyway, I can't wait 2 find out. Gramps it seems, is truly awful. What a villain! Anyway, it might have been better if the author had simply re-titled it and sold it as a dark, dramatic sequel.

Yesterday I wrote a comment about my theory: Haebom got upset when Taesung mentioned that they are married, wondering if they even are (referring to the fact that they are both men and can't legalize it)... Also a few chapters before he also mentioned wanting a baby... Given these facts I'm basically sure that the grandfather made him feel guilty by saying stuff like Taesung would never be able to have a "normal" life if they stayed together (getting married, having children...), and now Haebom thinks he's doing all that for Taesung's sake... Classic stupid cliché...
But the point is, I could understand his behavior if the manhwa had just started and they had just started dating/liking each other, but they basically got married and settled down, they were in a well-established relationship and got their happy ending. The story ended ages ago, so what's happening now is simply ridiculous!

For him 2 accuse Taesung of rape is just beyond the pale. Gramps must have had him brainwashed. It's the only thing that would make any inkling of sense at this point. Anyway, it must read like bad fan-fiction to all the longtime fans.
