The characters are interesting and not just one-note stereotypes. I love how the themes and conflicts in the first volumes were being reinforced and enriched in the following volumes. Especially Shirasaki's confrontation with Hayama's career choice in college. We never had the whole story as to why it was so impactful to Hayama, but Vol. 4 gave us a really good flashback as to why Hayama became attached to Shirasaki's words.
UGHHH! I'm rambling but I really do admire this manga so much, everything is so well-thought out!
