i like it? ( long ass comment )

i actually liked this more than i thought i would. for a manga released in 2005, i was expecting a lot of homophobic remarks, but the characters are much more chill and accepting. even chihiro who's described as childish was like "you're gay? oh okay. you like me? damn okay" that was a more appropriate response than people nowadays give.
i agree that his attempt to ignore keigo's feelings and try to decide what's best for him by himself was a bit insensitive, but he quickly realizes that what he did was wrong and that he only hurt keigo by doing so.
i was almost frustrated when keigo suddenly pinned chihiro down on the bed; i thought it would be another case of SA treated lightly in BL. but im glad he ended up doing nothing and even apologized to chihiro for scaring him (which he shouldn't have done in the first place).
well, at the end of the day, they're both teenagers, and this is their first time being with a guy or being liked by a guy, especially their childhood friend. their lack of experience, and society also plays a role in why theyㅡor at least chihiro is more reserved in expressing his feelings for keigo. but i can see that they both really like and care about each other.

my only problem is the constant victim blaming in the first chapter
