assuming this ends the same way as the novel, it’s technically either, though i guess closer to sadistic beauty bl. jiwook discovers what he did to juyeon and hates himself and can’t forgive himself, suffers severe ptsd from being gangraped, and can’t live without juyeon. jiwook keeps him as a pet, basically, continuing to sexually abuse him and make him suffer, because he doesn’t want jiwook to die and jiwook will probably kill himself or be unable to take care of himself/stay alive without juyeon.

yeahhh… i meant more like that in the sense that they’re… like, still technically together… but yeah… it’s a painful read. i mean, the manhwa might end differently, there’s been some talk of that, but the novel falls into the “no love” sub genre - like, literally, there is no love between them.
