But I do enjoy the story—it’s a good read. The plot is amazing; I just don’t like the ML at all I was secretly hoping they wouldn’t end up together and that he would just live with his friend on a seaweed farm.

It’s kinda due to the art, if you read the novel, you can understand their chemistry better
Why does the romance between the MC and the ML feel so forced? I don’t feel anything about them being together. The romance develops too quickly—even though it’s already 100+ chapters in, the redemption I was hoping for isn’t as satisfying as I expected.
