The story started off really strong. They felt like one of the most mature couples I’ve seen, and I loved how honest the MC was, especially in intimate moments it felt refreshing compared to the usual tropes. Their communication was probably my favorite part. But as it went on, the pacing started to drag, and it honestly hurt the characters. Locke, in particular, ended up being such a boring villain, which made the conflict feel weak. At this point, I just want it to be over. I’m expecting a cliché ending, but I’m still hoping it somehow pulls through and gives a proper, satisfying conclusion.
