If your asking for spoilers, Ig I can give you some. Actually scratch that, im just gonna give you a good bit of spoilers since.. this manhwa literally left all the good parts out.
OKay, so before MC was shot. MC stole the car keys like way earlier, and that blonde haired guy thats with Yuhyeok, his name is Heo Joon. Hes the guy that deals eith potions and whatnot. Heo Joon was supposed to already know MC took the keys, and was waiting for the right moment with Yuhyeok, since they knew there was a traitor in their midst.
It didnt say in the manhwa, but one of Eunsoo's ex friends was supposed to show up there. It was Yongpal, which was one of MC's old friends, when he used to be a bully (you remember in the manhwa, before the whole apocalypse, mc threw hands with three others at school? It was one of them). Yongpal was supposed to be under the influence of poison, forcing him to do things for the sake of survival (i personally still dont know who poisoned yongpal, but i think its Major Wang who appears only in the novel it seems). Yongpal almost exposed MC for his fake name, but MC managed to stop him by blackmailing him since he was one of the two that tried to kill the female students that had all the weapons. In the manhwa, the night MC stole the key absolutely doesnt correlate with the novel. In the novel, He stole the key earlier, and bided his time till he could get on the two young twins good side, so he could get them to use their abilities and help him use the car to get to Jaeyoung. In the manhwa, when he steals the key is actually when hes supposed to take the young twins doll, to hide it and 'accidently' find it later, to return to the twins.. but thst didnt go according to plan, since once he returned to his tent/room, he saw someone snooping around. It was Yongpal, so MC decided to follow him, and Yongpal had already killed a few of the guards. Mc was basically fucked since he was on the second floor, with Yukyeok going up after finding the bodies.
Yongpal seemed desperate to get tf out if thdr, even going so far as to make a loud commotion as he tried to break the lock off the doors hinges. However, Yuhyeok, and Heo Joon caught both Yongpal and MC red handed. They thought MC was with yongpal, but before they could get any answers out of Yongpal, and said MC was the one who made him do it, and then suddenly died due to his body melting away from the poison.
Mc, literally fucked by the way, pulled Heo joon away from Yongpal as he was melting, since he was about to grab Heo Joon's ankle and probably melt that along with him too. Mc wanted to prove he was innocent, but due to suddenly moving despite being watched carefully, an arrow was shot in his shoulder (I dont think it ever mentioned him being shot in the leg lmaoo). Also Yuhyeok def has feelings for mc. Oh yeah remember that Otaku guy MC got information from? He also played a bigger role than he was credited.
After that, MC was brought underground (or wherever tf they keep their prisoners), and was interrogated by Yuhyeok and Heo Joon. Mc was showing signs of panicing, which hadnt happened in a while ever since the apocalypse started. Yuhyeok felt hesitant to force him to speak.. but Heo joon was adamant to do it now, rather than later, so they made MC drink the truth serum. They asked MC what he knew about Yong pal, and Mc said everything he knew about him, including that he was an ugly squid faced bastard, and incident with the female students. Thats all he knew, which meant he wasnt with him, and Yongpal lied. Heo joon asked why he stole the keys, and said he wanted to get back to his pretty faced friend (lmfao), all while inwardly screaming. However, he also slipped up and said.. that Yuhyeok will kill his friend.
Anyways.. after that? A strange being took hold of MC's body, and talked to Yuhyeok... and right after that, he fell unconcious. Actually, not just that.. he was in a coma for a month and a half right after that.
The military and MC's family was supposed to get involved. Mc's older brother, Eunho, was supposed to meet with Jaeyoung, and form an alliance with him to look for his precious baby brother while simultaneously being determined to be drunk all day everyday.
The military was also supposed to get involved, since Eunsoo's family said they had ties to the military, and said they could use those ties to help find Eunsoo. There was a time skip in the novel for whatever reason, and Eunho cut ties with Jaeyoung after having found his younger brother. He didnt want to give his younger brother up the psycho Jaeyoung. Literally nobody else but MC saw Jaeyoung as a human anymore.
DID I FORGET TO MENTION THAT THE MANHWA DIDNT EVEN MENTION THE FACT THAT HYUNWOO, THAT HEALER GIRL, AND SOME OTHER STUDENTS WERE FORCED INTO A SERVANT-MASTER CONTRACT UNDER JAEYOUNG'S MIND CONTROL? Most of them still had control of their actions, but insubordination lead to consequences.
Yea, so anyways.. Eunsoo eventually wakes up, after missing out on literally everything. Dude was absent for the story for I felt like 15-20 novel chapters. He was put on an IV drip, and was kept safe in the subway area this whole time. He woke up to being kidnapped by Major want, and some other soldiers. They obviously didnt have any good intentions.. and that Otaku guy? Yea, he sacrificed his life to save poor MC. The roof of the subway caved in when Otaku used a grenade. Mc's body was.. hell, he shouldnt have been alive. The only reason he WAS alive, was because of the strange entity inside of him, telling him he has to kill Jaeyoung if he wants to live.
He was extremely injured, like im ngl. Not to mention, he could barely walk since he was in a coma for over a month, without any movement. Pretty sure he was twinkified, and malnourished, ngl. Anyways, he was on the verge of freezing to death when Hyoonwoo found him. Which is extremely different.. than the manhwa.
I can give more spoilers, if you want.
Okay, well.. Im still slowly reading the novel everyday.
After Eunsoo was saved by Hyunwoo, the reason Hyunwoo collapsed was because he betrayed Jaeyoung.. while still being in that forced master-servant contract. Hyunwoo was trying to bring Eunsoo away from the war zone, specifically away from Jaeyoung. That counted as insubordination.
But lets back up a bit on top of that. Before Hyunwoo saved Eunsoo, Hyunwoo met up with Eunho, Eunwoo's older brother, and I think Yuhyeok as well (it was before all hell broke loose). Hyunwoo wanted to confirm a personal theory that the reason Eunho betrayed their alliance with the monster king (aka Jaeyoung), is because he found his brother. Eunho pulled a gun on Hyunwoo, obviously drunk cause lets be so fucking fr dude was determined, yet again, to he drunk all day every day. Yuhyeok knows that Hyunwoo's Alignment is 'good' but he doesnt know about the master-servant contract hes under. Which is why Yuhyeok is confused.
Hyunwoo confirms his theory, and agrees to give them information (all while having a bloody nose, as the consequences of betraying Jaeyoung have already started appearing). Hyunwoo wanted to repay Eunsoo, for saving him. He also didnt want to kill Eunsoo's family either, because he knows Jaeyoung would. He wanted Eunho to take Eunsoo as far away as humanly possible. Hyunwoo learns that Eunsoo has been in a coma.. for a month and a half.
I dont remember exactly what happened next, but I think Jaeyoung started attacking X-Mart, which is under Yuhyeok's jurisdiction to protect. Yuhyeok told Hyunwoo to go to the underground subway area that Eunsoo was kept at, and get him out of there, and as far away as possible. Also lemme clarify smth rq, Eunho's ability is something along the lines of "Lucky Bastard", so dudes never dying even if he steps into a war zone.
Anyways, Hyunwoo goes to the spot he was told to go too.. but the place had already been blown up by a grenade. I think he needed to find anotjer entrance, so he did that.. hoping and praying that Eunsoo was okay.
While he was doing that (or around the same time), Eunsoo had found the Otaku's body. That same Otaku that was in a wheelchair, and saved him from Major Wang and the other soldiers. The Otaku's ability was cloning btw so the soldiers couldn't shoot him dead which was how he managed to save Eunsoo BTW. The Otaku was in a wheelchair because he was paralyzed from the neck under.. so, he didnt feel any pain, but he knew death was creeping in on him. I think there was a pipe or bar or smth stabbing into the Otaku, which was what inevitably killed him. Eunsoo stayed next to him the entire time, until his last breathe, and when that was done.. that was when he stood up, and tried to find his way out, desperately struggling. I think there was a sentence where it said one of his foots was busted, because he stepped in some of the debris. I also forgot to mention it was pitch black In that subway area, with nowhere to see (I cant remember if there was a flash light or not, probably not). He was freezing, thats when he met Hyunwoo who found another way inside the subway area. Eunsoo had been desperately calling out, to anyone, saying things like, help, I dont want to die.
Hyunwoo carried him out of the subway, which btw in the manhwa itself, there isn't even a subway at all.. like that whole scene is completely different.. im kinda glad I picked up the novel.
After Hyunwoo collapsed, unable to bear the brunt of disobeying orders, Eunsoo covers him with a jacket promising to come back for him, and struggles to go to the warzone where Yuhyeok and Jaeyoung were. He managed to find a car, and drove there.. but had to stop the car when a lot of survivors from X-Mart were in the way, trying to escape (it literally mentioned Eunsoo wanting to just run them over, but decided not too lmfaoo). After he got out of the car, he turned the corner and ran into his older brother, Eunho. Also did you guys notice yet that Eunsoo used Eunho's name when he told Yuhyeok his fake name? Lmfao..
Back when Yuhyeok and Eunho first met, and introduced themselves to eachother, it was kinda funny since Yuhyeok then knew he was lied too lmdao...
Anyways, back to the present. Eunho, obviously fucking drunk, ran into his younger brother, who was surprisingly awake and ALREADY running around looking like a bloody corpse. Eunsoo was determined to get to the warzone, to get to Jaeyoung.. so he convinced his brother to carry him all the way there. Eunho really is a 'lucky bastard' considering he escaped instant K.O. multiple times, while carrying Eunsoo.
Then Eunho asked Eunsoo which one he preferred, Yuhyeok or Jaeyoung, and Eunsoo looked so bewildered, and replied with "neither, but why Yuhyeok?" And Eunso was all like.. "you really dont know why?" And just left it at that. So its basically confirmed Yuhyeok has feelings for Eunsoo.
Anyways, Eunho brought Eunsoo to the battlefield, and saw Yuhyeok closing in on Jaeyoung. As it was described in the manhwa and the future Eunsoo saw, Jaeyoung shouldve always avoided direct confrontation with Yuhyeok, since Yuhyeok is stronger than Jaeyoung. Jaeyoung's normal tactic should've been to always use the people around Yuhyeok, killing them off (or making them kill themselves or eachother) in front of him one of by one since mind control doesn't work on Yuhyeok.
Yet, currently, Jaeyoung was fighting him. He it wasnt exactly a DIRECT direct confrontation, it was more like Jaeyoung using his monster friends called 'aqua' while staying in the back. He was fighting too recklessly, as well and got injured a lot while fighting Yuhyeok. Like he really should've died, with how severe his injuries were, yet the king entity inside of him kept him alive.
The MOMENT Jaeyoung locked eyes with Eunsoo, he completely ignored Yuhyeok and menacingly (covered in wounds and blood) walked towards him. Eunsoo obviously hid behind his brother cause hes a 'lucky bastard' charm. Yuhyeok was TRYING his hardest to stop Jaeyoung, but the aqua kept getting in his way. On top of that, Yuhyeok's team mates were either killing eachother or themselves (I think thats was mentioned, not sure).
Yuhyeok was very much pissed, like very much so. Jaeyoung stopped a few feet away from Eunsoo, I think he cried? Or smiled in that very soft affectionate way he ONLY ever does to Eunsoo? Yuhyeok used that chance and close in on him and was about to strike Jaeyoung's back, which he was stabbed I believe.. Eunsoo wasnt fast enough to react in time due to his own injuries, but after Jaeyoung collapsed right in front of him, he stood in front of Yuhyeok, and tried to convince him to not kill Jaeyoung. Yuhyeok really looked like he was gonna kill Jaeyoung, though.. but Eunsoo kept saying 'I can fix him' (no he didnt actually say that im jk lmfaoo) what he actually said was along the lines, 'I wont let him do this again', 'ill prevent it' or smth like that.
Yuhyeok didnt understand Eunsoo at all. He said to Eunsoo, 'you dont actually care about all the people he's killed, do you?' (Or smth along those lines). Yuhyeok seemed to calm down after that, and 'seemed' to go along with what Eunsoo was saying. He told Eunsoo to step away from Jaeyoung, and Eunsoo, having asked, 'your not gonna kill him, right?' Was about too.. but Jaeyoung suddenly wrapped his arms around Eunsoo's waist, or leg..? While also kinda dangling onto the floor as if he were clinging. Preventing Eunsoo from going with Yuhyeok. Yuhyeok grabbed Eunsoo's arm, and tried pulling him back (or smth like that).. making him literally stuck in between the two..
Oh I forgot about the brother ngl, im pretty sure Jaeyoung injured Eunsoo's brother in the midst of all that, but Eunsoo wasnt worried about him since he had briefly glanced over at him and saw he was still breathing (aka, lucky bastard).
Anyways, Eunsoo was fucked because why the hell is he even concious after all that? After everything he and his body have been through, he collapsed right then and there, losing conciousness.
If yall want more spoilers lmk, I decided to try to make the spoilers a bit more.. sensible since I had a hard time comprehending my earlier spoilers when re reading..
Here's the novel link for ch 1

At this point, just go read the novel. Its so much better, because this manhwa adaption leaves out literally.. EVERYTHING. When Hyunwoo found MC, he was supposed to be half dead, almost frozen to death.
The whole scene where MC was caught for 'being a traitor' after stealing the car keys was also completely different, that crazy blonde haired person with the potions was also supposed to already know MC stole the keys so idk why he says "I was really hoping it wasnt you" in one of the panels??
