Not all readers are like you who doesn't like READING stuffs like that...and maybe they find their LOVE STORY cute and how the Alpha acts with his Omega in the later chapters, and how the Omega softens to his Alpha, and also when they had baby. Some readers likes READING stories with a rough starts. Moreover, if the manhwa didn't come of like that to you doesn't give you the right to question why the readers find this cute.
You're too righteous to read stuffs like this, maybe try reading BL with plots that are light and those who start off with something healthy.
I tell you though, this manhwa is real cute. I suggest you give it a chance, and if there's chapters you don't like, then just skip it. Just a suggestion though. Have a good day!!
Maybe I judged it too soon, but it is really off putting, let me explain why I feel this way. I read stories where rape happens but seriously HATE when there are no repercussions or that it is treated like a non issue. I noticed that a most rape is brushed off in BL and it is honestly upsetting. Is the rape scene from chapter 5 ever addressed? Or do they pretend like it never happened?
In general my issue is showing rape as if it’s nothing because they are men, but then pretending it is all lovely dovely. I read Low tide in Twilight. It starts with the disgusting rape scene and it happened again later on, do I in the end think it had a happy ending? Sure, but it still upsets me how it begun and that it is not a good thing. I didn’t read past chapter 5 of this story because it did not seem interesting enough + the rape, none of the comments mentioned it I think, hence my frustration an the title of my comment. Hope this helps you see a bit of me perspective.
I agree. It seems to be an ongoing theme in most BL. I hate that they make it seem like it’s something “natural”. In Low Tides there was actually consequences for the rapes (even though I would’ve rather he left that blonde bastard). The mc didn’t take it laying down but that’s not the norm usually the rape is just overlooked like it was nothing. Everybody moves on like it was a sign of love or something. I just hate the message it puts out, it’s as if they’re saying rape is okay as long as y’all love each other. Idk I’m going to still read this to see what’s going on but I definitely agree with you.
You should never feel sorry for your opinion because I kinda agree they kinda just always put rape as something that’s not important and I feel like it’s kind of numbed a lot of us because we just want to enjoy the love story but it doesn’t mean that it’s OK to just put rape in a book and pretend that it’s OK. This is coming from someone who actually liked the story and thought they were cute, but I also felt uncomfortable about that part.

I see people saying this is cute but it literally starts with rape, even be MC acknowledged it’s a pheromone rape, so… I cannot get past chapter 5 because of that, the MC asked multiple times to be untied and to let him go and only succumbed to the pheromones, that is not okay, it is on the same level as getting spiked
