Thats also not what happened in the prologue tho, MC is already injured and semi unconscious on the floor, and the dad (supposedly) is yelling about a robber, what happens there is sorta ambiguous until the MC wakes up to a looter whos about to kill him, guwon enters and kills the looter, whom MC later assumes decayed corpse is his dads.
I think either his memory of who his dad is wrong or possibly he was already dead, like his dad yelling about a robber could’ve been something that happened before the zombie apocalypse, cause yelling about being robbed during a zombie apocalypse would be dumb, either way im like 99% sure that body was not his dads, so what happened to him?
mm idk I think the dad was giving up on saving his injured son so decided to end him softly but I do see why you got this idea. The only thing stopping me from believing u lowkey was that flashback we got in the recent chapter of the dad before he was killed but he could js be delirious to the point of confusing faces
I think you might be a bit confused by the story. Chapter 0 is the delirious take on what happened. The recent chapter is what really happened. The reason why mc couldn't remember correctly in the beginning, is because he got an injury on his head. Him coming back to the house, after recovery, brought the actual memory back of what really happened. They got caught by raiders(probably the hounds and Guwon follows the dad back to the teacher) and his dad brought him back water after. The dad was not gonna kill him at all. This why in some chapters, his unconscious body tries to kill Guwon. He subconsciously KNOWS what actually happened, but doesn't ever fully remember until he sees the body.
