I’m at chapter 1, but VERY CONFUSED, Why is SHE sent as a Concubine to the EMPRESS?? Aren’t concubines supposed to be fore, idk, reproduction??? So why a gurl for a gurl?

    Nah... I mean it is one of the reasons but concubines are also taken for increasing the power of the ruler as well as the concubines family
