Rereading this for the 3rd time and unfortunately I’m feeling lower on it. Might be because I had seen too many edits of this BL on tiktok before I read this for the first time, but I feel like this trope…has been done before? Maybe in BGs or something like that. Loved the middle section so much still though the way things were written.This time I kinda didn’t get much from the ML. I get its not his pov but he as a character comes off as a bit hollow/too stoic/not fully realized. Their chemistry in the present also felt awkward even at the end plus the ending felt very rushed/a bit too convenient. Still a very very solid story ┗( T﹏T )┛
