Seriously.. all that drama and that's the outcome?

No way, that's all it took for Kinjo to back down.. fair enough if he's trying to make a comeback in his career (probably too delusional to see that it ain't happening, at least not anytime soon) so he can't risk another controversy, especially one involving the police but like.. I'm imagining myself as a rich scumbag who lost a lot, I would've been like, "If I'm going down, you're all going down with me." Plus, I know he lost a lot of money from the scandal, but he still clearly has enough, especially since he gave a generous amount to Karin, just hire a hacker or smth Not to mention.. he literally JUST said he shouldn't trust Tamori, who he knew was an actor yet immediately trusted him after a few drinks.. I thought we had a villain character to ACTUALLY be afraid of, but he's just as stupid as Karin, all you have to do is stroke their ego, and they sell themselves out. Like, a part of me is glad this Kinjo drama has "concluded," but another part of me is so disappointed they didn't go far with it, it had a lot of potential since he felt like an actual threat compared to Karin, especially with how he figured out that Sumire and Aoi were related and her motives. Now it's back to Karin, who I'm honestly not even all that interested in anymore, her downfall has been dragged out long enough, doesn't help that almost every chapter, Sumire always says something like "in the end, I will completely finish you and we will both fall," like can we just get to it then..

EDIT: Oh LOL. The new chapter came out just after I wrote this and Sumire, in fact, did get to it. That was kinda satisfying.
