Sry wait, reasoning for what specifically TT i feel like i’ve rant abt so many things haha
If it’s abt why i don’t like Jeong Yoon, i suppose it’s his way to deal with things (?)… i’ve never been so frustrated with a character’s ability to solve and react to certain situations.
He just let things go the moment he thinks it’s impossible to recover, sometimes he’s just a total pushover, he’s always so doubtful about himself, and his naive personality is overbearing.
And ofc, I don’t expect him to be perfect and always being in control of everything that happens around him… i know it wouldn’t make the story appealing if that was the case.
And i’m not saying that “he should’ve done this or done that”, cause it’s ok to make mistakes, but i just hoped he fought a little bit more for himself instead, and be a little more confrontational to Chae Heon, esp. because (imo) he has more control over Chae Heon than the opposite.
So in the end it really just felt like if the characters are happy then it’s a happy ending, but i’m not buying that sry TT
Sure there was time when he was actually a reliable person but other than that one time, the lack of growth really made me indifferent about him.
I guess it’s just me :3 if people like the story or the characters and don’t agree with me it’s valid hehe

Hear me out… i might be the only one but i really couldn’t stand Jeong Yoon for almost the entire read… and it’s not like he’s unlikeable, he’s not a bad person/character, he didn’t do anything badd that makes me want to hate him, but throughout the entire story I couldn’t see myself cheering for him either TT so idk am i the only one?
As for Chae Heon, i think between the two characters, i “like” him better.
Naturally i still think his “stalker” behavior kinda made him weird, oh so weird. Especially for a revelation like that at ending of the main story kinda felt off hmmm. It was creepy ngl… but if u wanna portray that as a facet of love for his long ass one-sided crush (or so he thought) … well… u do u, i’ll not judge :/
But i think his obsessive nature and controlling type, is ok for the story, and his past-dedicated chapter wasn’t bad imo, it’s not like the author is forcing us to sympathize with Chae Heon… for the fact that he doesn’t want to change that nor he thinks it’s a trait that he should erase… i don’t even know if he even realizes how bad his “stalking” habit was… even after JY told him it’s kinda bordering he doesn’t actively do anything to “fix” it.
And JY was being all naive abt it… but i have to say.. IT GETS TO A POINT babe like…
Usually i don’t get this pessimistic while reading, but at one point i was like “ok wow i wanna finish this asap” and not in an excited way hmm.
And then i saw there were only 49 chapters for the main story to finish, and it’s not that much… but i really didn’t wanna read the side stories too… and it’s weird, i usually finish everything, i’ve read Manwhas where i truly hated the characters but i still finish the story to the very end of the side stories… so i’m like, why i feel different abt this one? TT
And it’s not like the characters are unlikeable, or just straight up garbage, ofc i’m not expecting every character to be “perfect”, but there’s something that’s not clicking to me with the whole thing and i kinda feel sad, cause i reaaaaaally wanted to like this one … i like the artstyle, i think it’s really pretty, and the smut scenes are also great but hmmm i was kinda let down, esp bcs i started this maybe 2ys ago?? Idr, but i left at 20ch cause of life complications so i came back and i found this on my “reading” list and i wanted to finish it.
I’d still give it 4* cause it’s not a bad story at all, and i’d definitely want to read more from the same author if they’re gonna come up with other stories :3
