I was gonna say the same the pharmaceutical company used him as a test subject he bore the kids unwillingly as a result and those two weeks were his period cycle. I also think him saying “please be alive” when talking about his son is because he thinks they moved to his son after he left. He’s hoping they didn’t kill or his son hasn’t committed…well yeah
Tbh at this point I'm also doubting if his son was even born... what if his daughter was the only kid that lived and was born healthy ?? ...maybe the uke got pregnant many times and lost his babies and he is denial and is forcing himself to believe that his son was kidnapped?? Maybe the son never existed cuz I don't really see him or his daughter really worried about the boy ...maybe it's just the uke's delusion that his son is alive...(OVERTHINKER CORE)

No I think the son is real because he has trauma about leaving him behind when he ran off in the most recent chapter they head to back to island to find him. He’s got to be real.

Ok, so here's my two cents after reading latest chaps and some comments plus talking abt it with sone friends.
No, I dont think this is omegaverse. I think this has to do with farmaceuthical experimentation and church cult rituals that involves synthetic drugs in a very shady connection with the farmacompany. That much has been implied.
I really believe that the New Mary figure could be intersex individuals turned from the usage of these certain drugs. I also believe that Seong Su was SAd and if the route/theory of induced intersexuality is correct, then he might be the gestating parent (as in pregnant), this could have been as part of convertion ritual due to his sexuality. This theory takes a bit more of shape when he mentions feeling ill with certain frequency (he either has periods or ovulation, but most prob period symptoms)
I think the son is alive, and could be being used as a Messianic figure in the Island. I also think the priest (the guy with glasses) is probably the father. And the guy from the Farmaceuthical company is trying to reach the priest thru Seong Su and Beonggu as a third party due to connection ofc.
Next chapter might imply Seong Su ovulating (that's why he might ask our top detective to have sex with him) if the period theory is right and a few weeks have passed then he is ovulating rn...
Idk just what I'm thinking given the info from previous episodes... if Seong Su is not intersex and just a normal (biologically speaking) guy then the cloning theory could also be plausible given how effing similar the lil daughter is from her dad. If not that then most "normal" route if ever is Seong Su just being the biological father of the two kids, but the kids were definitely a byproduct of ritualistic sexual abuse within the Cult. That much is true in every possible route of the story. Those poor kids were born from violence, sadly.
