No, neither of them slept with anyone else during that time. It wasn’t an official breakup, just a separation, and they were both still in love and devoted to each other.
The uke focused on becoming independent, even though he missed the seme a lot. The seme struggled more... He stayed nearby in Paris and watched from a distance but didn’t approach out of respect.
They both had people show interest in them, but neither acted on it. The uke turned someone down by implying he had a boyfriend, and the seme even kicked out a rich client who insulted the uke.

So I am weird and get invested in the side characters. What happens to our Phantom Family? T_T Does everyone “break up”, or do our sides hold it together?
I totally get it! The writer did a great job developing the side characters :) I'll go one by one:
• Morae and Yeehan moved to Bali pretty early on, and visit Yeehyeon and Liu frequently. They also have a baby named Parang. It means wave/blue :)
• Yuni - She went to Paris with Yeehyeon, got a girlfriend named Michelle there, and later moved to Bali to work at Phantom Bali with Michelle.
• Juhan - Got serious about Phantom Seoul, and came up with a modern idea of an art gallery and opened up a cafe in Phantom and stayed there as the cafe's manager.
• Inwu got serious about painting and had a solo exhibition at Phantom Seoul.
• Manager Han stayed at Phantom Seoul.
• Liu's parents became besties with Yeehyeon's uncle and aunt.

Yeah I was sad about Yuni and Juhan's separation too! There was an instance when Yuni and Yeehyeon came to Korea to visit together, and someone said to Juhan "are you happy to get your soulmate back?". Also during Yeehyeon and Liu's wedding Juhan was jealous of Yuni's girlfriend for stealing his soulmate haha.
About Shushu -- I think he's there to support Liu through his tough times when Ihyeon leaves, reminding him that imperfect love is still love. I don't know much beyond that since he appears very little later in the series. :)

This is when Liu abandons his resolve and fully devotes himself to Yeehyeon, letting go of his control as a Golden Alpha after seeing how vulnerable he is. Liu comes up with an elaborate plan: (1) pay off the uncle so Mr. Lim loses his leverage, and (2) relocate Yeehan and Morae to Bali.
