You want characters to be consistent? Hahaha that's impossible, can you yourself be consistent all the time like coming from school, get good grades and arrived on time? You can't right? It's the same with characters in the narrative, some emotions and actions would be inconsistent in a world logic that's run on consistent while u, human yourself would not be consistent. He can be smart and inconsistent stupid. That's how life works lol. Also him installing cameras because hes suspecting about Iroha might not come in his might since he's a doctor.

smart antagonists build very good tension and plot, especially if the mc is smart as well. True, they could've just taken her out in the hospital. But in my understanding, other than her paralysis, I think she was healthy? Maybe that wasn't an option, considering it would look too sus. Also this is more additive (from me trying to make it make sense) rather than an actual thing from the story.

Coz before all the shi, she had friends who visited her, so ig to them, it would appear odd for her to just die like that when she appeared fine. Maybe that's why they had the guy isolate and marry her or sumn to make it less sus.

Yeah, doctors also messed up in the real world more than we can think of. Look at how many times they have to deliberately messed up Iroha's records or Matsui or the kid who had leg surgery fucking died due to blood loss. They're incompetent just like irl but doctors just like to lie to you. Honestly, the inconsistent in character's personality should be focus on the inconsistent of this doctor's competence as a doctor. Jesus Christ, he sucks as a doctor. Also take a look at your evil protagnisg, they're fucking stupid and screw up. They're not evil thwarts, they're retarded and pathetic, evil is just amping up what they truly are.

Like I’d assume that the dude probably destroyed it but I’m guessing they thought bc he HAD to be blackmailed (not even a single idea that he couldve just been on their side for the money) he probably kept it as insurance for himself. Also the reasoning to concluding the dude had to have been the one who took the SD was strange and confused me.

I think it makes sense that aoto assumed the MC could have been the babysitter. hes hiding the fact that he has another marriage from his real wife while slowly trying to kill her off to cover up the fact that his dad killed her parents and disabled her. he isnt hiding this just from his wife, but from his disabled 'fake' wife, his coworkers, and the police. hes committing multiple crimes so ofc he'd feel paranoid as hell and make crazy assumptions. honestly I think it would make less sense if he didn't assume worst case scenario for every little thing in his state. and his character is very calculated so on top of everything hes doing, the anxiousness of getting caught would add on to the paranoia.
