I am surprised for a story so heavily influenced by the main characters, they are so utterly boring. My favourite character was definitely Roger since he's the ONLY one with an actual character growth, like he changed and learned throughout the story. The fl literally was the same, start to finish. The ml is as generic as white bread. The brother is barely there, like for being one of the main characters, the only thing we know about him in the entire story is that he's kind of a siscon. Even his expression never changes. And btw, what the fuck happened to the og fl? Like she is never mentioned at all? I was kinda looking forward to her shtick. The magician has such a dubious story. They could've done something else with his character but he kinda limbo's between a fatherly figure to a love interest.
Still it was quite a decent read. The interaction between characters is very well portrayed for my liking. I'd give it like a 3 out of 5 stars
