i call my biological mom by her first name became it's more comfortable for me to say than "mom" or "mommy," so it's probably just preference?

most likely translation issues since theres no way in hell would an asian call a parental figure by their first name without any honorifics

lol surprise!! im one of the unique asians, then. of course, my mom was thrown off by it when i first started calling her like that, but she just let it slide without really questioning it.. she's not your stereotypical strict asian mother, that's for sure
