Subscribing to the story is what gives the updates/notifications
As for specifically about the notifications...you won't be notified immediately. But it should be within the same day depending on when the chapter was uploaded. I read someone say the notifications are released twice a day, one in the morning one at night...
I'm not too sure on the times you'll have to ask but for example, let's say the notifications are released at 8 am and 8 pm, that means that an uploader would have to upload a chapter before 8 am and then the app will notify us on anything that was uploaded before the 8 am mark and if an uploader uploaded a chapter after 8 am then we would have to wait until 8 pm before mangago gives us the notification

So basically, I don't know why it's not showing me with manhwas are being updated and it did when I checked the story itself. it's just not working where they give me the notification and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem..??
