This is exactly what I felt.
But sometimes it’s hard to express an opinion when there are so many toxic fans. Simply telling the truth can make them attack you, and they might even keep going after you relentlessly, as if it never ends.
damn, hope they grow some basic ass empathy and morals. being unable to correlate fictional narratives to real world problems in the big 26 is seriously alarming
people watch horror movies where characters heavily get tortured all the time. idk it’s just not that big of a deal to me if it’s fiction, no one’s actually getting hurt, no one’s actually dying, no one’s actually getting raped. sure get weirded out, but learn to differentiate fiction from reality so you don’t get so worked up over characters that aren’t real

I do hope that what’s happening to these characters aren’t real cause you getting raped and then being simplified into a disgustingly lazy plot device is devastating, this is where basic human empathy comes in and we understand that authors using rape in their stories especially pornography in the long run are just contributing to sexualizing victims and worsening the already fucked up rape culture. Like Killing Stalking where people normalized such abuse that they think whatever relationship a victim and their perpetrator have is romantic, just because you choose to be ignorant doesn’t mean these shit should ever be normalized or brushed off because its not “real”

I get that the author does originally prefer to draw even more “porn like stories” but the absence of consent in the interaction between the characters is much more disgusting, I don’t get how people got disturbed with the character design when the fact rape literally happened. Hope when s2 comes out this shit doesn’t happen anymore
