- i agree with exclusive no love zone (official title is beta off not dating) bc it’s a really nice take about a beta being inconvenienced by alphas and omegas around him and him confronting his own prejudices
- i have a tiny beta on top list but be warned there’s a beta that transitions to an alpha (it’s still a good series bc god i feel so bad for the omega and the beta who becomes an alpha doesn’t really change) and two where the side couple is beta top but that means you will have to wade through traditional dynamics first (i love while you weren’t watching tho and i cannot wait for s2 where we get to the beta and alpha pair. originally the beta was with an alpha but another alpha turned him. it’s still good bc said beta confronts his ex who scare him and has an inflexible view on alpha x omega relation ships BUT LOL HE ENDS UP WITH BETAS TWICE. but not what u r looking for)
- for alpha x alpha the standard recs are define the relationship (the author is really good at exploring non traditional dynamics like their new serialization mind the gap is excellent as a beta x alpha), do you still like me? (from a sex partner arrangement to true attachment), and an unsettling scent (aggressive alpha x alpha sex partners to the point of using pheromone showers to try to control each other its kinda insane. be warned it’s dub con/non con at times). all of these are complete
- borderline alpha x alpha recs include smyrna & capri (the uke is able to bear children thanks to their bloodline blessing and people treat him as an omega even tho he’s an alpha) and alphega (the novel is sooooooo good. uke is 99% alpha and 1% omega and seme does latch onto the omega scent but the novel makes it SO CLEAR he loves his alpha side too. and it does a great exploration of subgender traits and society’s shitty views that puts down omegas and the uke is trying to fight it). bc both series include mpreg so i put it on the borderline list. usually i would also rec aren’t you my type but the author clearly couldn’t make up their mind and now the plot point is currently at a place where the writing it making me :/

AND has that trope where love rivals fall for each other (eventually… takes a whole reunion and some to get there)
Anyone got some non traditional omegaverse recommendations ; so basically anything except bottom Omega x top Alpha, no mpreg, and no beta turns into an omega or anything similar
