I was thinking the same thing, not sure why there isn’t one either . I get they get reprimanded but you can’t actually force someone to guide someone else unless you have leverage, it’s not hard for a power to even occur between guides and espers, esp when espers have nothing on guides except violence.
I wanna read an esper x guide story where guides are treated as inferior by everyone (kinda like this one) until some guides get so tired of it that they purposefully withhold guiding on the battlefield and let scumbag espers rampage and get killed on the field.
Like, it's kind of morbid, but high-key stories like this one where guides are treated as inferior when they help espers be able to use their powers safely just gets me thinking
