I completely agree, sometimes it’s nicer to imagine it instead of seeing it and that’s just how it is even if it’s ugly or unfitting. And it really throws me off when it’s been colored bright red in manhwa, so unsettling. You’re not crazy lol, I feel ya!

i think that's because of two reasons:
1. getting used to seeing censored dihs/lightsabers. i lowkey get caught off guard a LOT whenever i see uncensored yaoi, solely because i'm just too used to seeing it like some white glowy thing.
2. it's drawn badly. i've seen veeeeery few bls/gls where the genitals actually looks like genitals and not some unrealistic alien body part. that just looks weird in general, plus, they're hard to draw so i don't even blame the author lmao
Yeah, sometimes the coloring is so off, but at the same time I also get weirded out when they’re just drawn with like basic skin color texture. Like, idk what it’s supposed to look like, but that someone looks worse, cause why does that dick look sickly now??
That’s real! I definitely got way too used to the lightsabers now, so I always get jumpscared lol. I’m just glad I’m not the only one that thinks like this, cause I always only see comments cheering for the uncensored version being uploaded lol
You are not alone, I actually recoil when I see it uncensored. That's why I only read the fan translations. Officials tend to be uncensored while unofficials are usually censored
Yeah, I think officials usually have two versions, and the saints that spend their own money on those sites and then posts them here usually chooses the uncensored version.
Though, I usually choose fan translations because of how sometimes the official translation westernizes a ton of terms and phrases.(like getting rid of honorifics and stuff)
Hahaha so true, there truly is a perfect balance between color, detail, and size consistency! Of the uncensored titles I’ve read, I’ve yet to see one that is visually appealing and not distracting from what else is happening.

No, I prefer censored too. But when I buy official chapters I choose to buy uncensored cause. Why should I pay the same amount for something less? Also I hate censorship, so I just scroll and scroll.

Just wondering, but am I the only one that prefers lightsabers over uncensored dicks in bls? Like… idk how to describe it, but sometimes the way the dick is drawn can become really jarring. Like, if it’s too detailed or if it’s not detailed enough, compared to the art style.
Also, I feel like the uncensored version of the dicks always change the sizing of the dicks on the characters lol. Like I read both versions of a bl once and in the uncensored version suddenly showed a panel where the uke’s dick was like way bigger than it usually is and it made me laugh lol. It also does the opposite sometimes, and I feel like it’s because there’s perspective on the lightsabers that the redrawer doesn’t take into account, or maybe just dick anatomy being weird lol—
Idk, there’s not a lot of quality control I feel like. But saying there isn’t enough quality control on dicks in bls sounds hella stupid lol.
Just wondering if I’m the only one who actively searches for the censored version if there is a uncensored version available lol XD
(P.S. I am by no way saying I don’t appreciate uncensored versions, nor am I saying we shouldn’t have uncensored versions. We all need them for our thirsty girlies after all. I’m just asking if others have similar preferences as I do lol)
