If you think you’re gonna get communication in this story? Wrong. It’s not even miscommunication- one has the personality of a spoiled 12 year old and the other seems to think that the rich dude (who has a shit personality) can’t grasp most of his struggles so he never once voices them to him even when it’d make sense in hindsight to tell him.
Another thing, this story goes from 1 to 100 real fucking quickly sometimes for no fucking reason. It feel like there should be fluff in there but no - they literally are just like that becuz this story takes place IN A MONTH. They’re so fuckijg annoying.
I can’t stand the MC. For someone his flat broke, he doesn’t fall under the archetype of “broke uke” and not even in a good way. He’s not crafty, he’s not willing to take advantage of when he does get to have money, he’s not good at working even? Hell even his brother didn’t even appear much despite the fact that that’s why he supposedly works. He seems like an occasional plot device.
The ML has emotional constipation. He legit can’t process his fuckijg feelings without being edge lord 3000. And he gets mad so quickly it’s like do you even like the dude? You lust for him, sure, but you make no other effort to understand him (given the mc doesn’t give him much option either)
They don’t even like each other. More so the MC than the ML, I don’t even get how he got around to sleeping with him when you legit don’t even see when tf he starts liking the ML considering how he actively shits on everything the ML tried to do for him and he doesn’t talk to him. ML is just always mad too.
THEY LITERALLY DIVULGE NOTHING!!! you learn nothing NOTHING about these fuck ass characters becuz they were 1. Too being being a morally, prideful “poor” bottom and 2. Always fucking pissed like a dude who plays COD 24/7. And when they do show interest in each other it’s JUST TO FUCK?! Like HOW r u suppose to like them when u literally don’t learn nothing about them? That’s both for them as a couple and us as readers.
Like again, a fucking WASTE Of a younger brother becuz he’s literally treated as an occasional houseplant that they’ll look at and say “aw” and same thing with the ex and the ML’s brother - what was the point? There was none, surprise.
SPOILERS: I wanted to like it so bad but I really fixking lost it when they Legit sleep together, have lunch and the bottoms hurting after sex so he can’t eat and they get mad, and legit the next chapter they’re like “blushing” we haven’t seen each other in a week. Guess the heart does grow fonder. And then they get mad again.
The whole brother fever thing…. Ugh. Again, such a fuxkinf plot device. It’s a finicky gimmick to get them to talk again - and again it falls flat becuz not even a few chapters later does the bottom decide that becuz the top left him for a week after they fuck for the 2nd time he needs to disappear. It’s not even a long disappearance it’s an annoyingly quick one where the top loses his shit momentarily and the bottom is again all dramatic.
