If you've read everything I've written, you'll see I'm not complaining about the lack of smut (honestly seeing smut here would be pretty uncomfortable, given the vibe of the story) but about how stupid it is to portray them in certain, more or less explicit situations and then say "oh yeah no they've been married for years but never had sex actually".
If they weren't comfortable talking about sex, they wouldn't bring it up in the first place and that would be totally fine. And again, if they were a minor (pretty unlikely, honestly) they would've either omitted it, wrote the whole thing orrr kept it censored.
Also, just typing this in place of my 15-16yo self because I know she would've been mad, but being a minor doesn't equal being clueless, so y'all should really stop assuming that. In any case, the point isn't that the situation portrayed simply isn't realistic, which makes it pretty laughable in my opinion
No I read the part where smut isn't needed, I'm talking about why they said "haven't had sex yet". Like I said I haven't read it fully so I don't know how bad their excuse is but being uncomfortable about talking about sex doesn't just mean not bringing it up. Idk how to explain it well but I'll try to give an example, like a guy with their partner talking about yeah they tried to make a kid but they don't say oh yeah we had bed relationships...idk I'm not good at explaining. But basically being uncomfortable about giving any idea that they fucked or in this case author saying that they never had sex cause it doesn't fit... Yes my explanation is horrible lol as for the minor one yes I totally agree that doesn't mean being clueless but it kinda also ties in with being uncomfortable thing im talking about, just wanting to skip the whole topic entirely so you throw in a somewhat explanation. But yeah for me there could be so many reasons why they threw in that line so I don't really wanna focus on it.
Also the whole "too big" thing can be a real thing... Imagine having a big width that "too big"
Oh fuck ts it deleted the rest of my comment.
Anyhow, in short: minors have sex so it's not about being uncomfortable with the topic. The topic itself was brought up by the author and the scene, although not explicit, was present, and it would make no sense to bring it up if you're not comfortable with the subject. If you're passionately attracted to someone you're also married to, well... Where there's a will there's a way, so with a few weeks or months of work it would become nice and enjoyable for both. Thus, author is either writing about stuff they don't understand irl or trying to keep up some purist appearances (like in kdramas, where everyone is seemingly a pure virgin late in their thirties). Main complaint: it's not realistic and it's bullshit

Bro... What in the childish-written bs is this I mean, the story itself is like, nothing too new, neither bad nor fantastic, still enjoyable, (spoilers from here on out) but why are some things so... unbelievably naive and childish? I'm not saying it should have smut, it's not necessary and wouldn't suit the vibe of this story... but you're really telling me they didn't do anything in the years they've been married? Like, really author????? Because he's "too big"? How much more bullshit are you gonna spew? It's so very unrealistic, especially so considering the author made it clear they wanted to it's like the author is advertising "I've no idea how this stuff works in real life!!! Hihi haha" . Also I'm very adverse to the whole "the girl proposing on her knees" things but that's the least of my concerns.
