I disagree. Mc is really incredible and you know if you read it that mc truly loves ml. But that doesnt mean he doesnt have a spine. He tried to make ml understand but that failed. Mc being able to punch ml is incredible, he never lose himself dispite being a "wife" to some guy. He tried to resist bit he just cant.
you are aiming your anger at the wrong person. If theres someone you have to be annoyed/angry with its ml. Its like you are blaming a victim for being weak when they are again a victim not the criminal-who is the ml when here he essentially committed rape.
The ml is a alpha in reality their characteristics are like territorial dogs plus he's one with a sad backstory. The ml should have known by now that he's triggered by everything that has to do with Gray because he gets upset even if a scent of him and his name is called. Tell me how MC even after hearing the backstory is still allowing Gray to be near him?
This is reminding of another story where the countess/duchess was still talking to the ml brother so the ml thought she was cheating with him and the child they had which he doesn't remember conceiving with her because he was drunk is the brother's because the child looked nothing like him which was due to the wife was still talking to his brother and even though she knew their story which is the same as this ML.

Having a trauma doesnt excuse bad behaviour. He shouldve known better? Yeah you seems to really like blaming the victim alright. If you and your partner have trauma you get over it together, talk abt it. How is mc supposed to do that when he already did but ml reject him?
Mc made the right choice in that situation, he stays loyal, tried to solve it, even aftar all that he knows his worth and tried to fight it. Are you seriously blaming the one who tried his best to fix everything, so what exactly mc supposed to do?
Like legit both are in a hard position but on the last chapter the one who messed up is ml. Im convinced the author just put the gray guy to mess with the story.
Besides if ml shouldve expected gray also have feelings for mc, have bad intentions, and lock him out of the castle, he is the all powerful duke isnt he?
This is why the innocent and always jolly MC are the worst to have as a spouse. They ignore signs and pleas and also stupidly giggles in the face of dangers. They're the type of friends to be pushing button yet still think it's not offensive.
