shuraka hasnt really experinced any type of love so i dont think it is safe to say he LOVES tei .....and tei realise he is doing it out of obligation and he also doesnt love him like a LOVER does

Shuraka lowkey seems to be clinging to this ideal of Tei as his savior bc of his traumatic childhood, but idk can that rly be called love? Also I feel like we cant even be sure everything Tei does isnt out of obligation to care for Shuraka bc of their age gap and him being his bride. Tei is a war veteran ofc hes not gonna crash out over blood. Like yes he got jealous abt the concubines but hes alr expressed hows its important for him to feel useful and fufill his duties. Their relationship got a long way to go imo.
I understand when ppl say Tei doesnt know he loves Shuraka. I think Tei does love him but I wouldnt say its romantic just like maternal ig??
