why are they even doing this? what do they gain from it? what will they do if the very fans who fanned the flame of their favorite author's fame disappears because they are now unable to access their work? what will they do if the work loses traction and the companies become uninterested? seriously... what do they have against people who cannot afford the VERY high paywall for a single and short episode thus reading from a pirated site? does it make them feel superior?
