Honestly, the movie is thousand times better compared to this manhwa.

Here, the characters lack depth, especially the top. His past experience felt very cringe to me, mainly because it involved his brother. It gave off an uncomfortable, incest-like vibe. So, I couldn’t really connect with the top character or feel much about his psychological development.
On top of that, the way the top gets involved with the bottom doesn’t feel convincing. I mean, not connecting to his past. Also another negative point is, the bottom is seeking the MC for pleasure and sex, like he’s begging for it. Because of this, their relationship comes across more like Stockholm syndrome rather than any meaningful psychological healing from their past trauma.

In the movie, on the other hand, handles all of this much better. It doesn’t reduce their connection to just sex, pleasure, and wired love thing. Instead, it shows something deeper,,,, two broken people finding common ground. Also, here the bottom didn't lower himself to beg after physical desire. Rather, he decided to save the top, just as he saved him. Their bond felt mutual, as if they owned each other while healing together.
