Yeah. That's the thing with the omegaverse. I know there are a lot of stories about fated pairs, but the world is huge. Unless all fated pairs just convenienly spawn in the same region as one another, it'd be extremely rare for one to even encounter their fated pair.
And honestly, with how omegaverse is used in a majority of stories, rape unfortunately is going to be a common occurrence. The difference with this manga is that it's a major event that affected and shaped all major characters. There would be no story or character/relationship development without it. It doesn't happen "just because," and isn't praised at all.
No one here who actually thoroughly read and loved the whole story enjoyed reading the rape scene at all.
Y'all r saying its shitty and dropping it but this is one of the most realistic ABO stories. They were all affected by societal norms and discrimination. Taiga was honestly a fucker but was bitched slap by the consequences of his actions and actually had character development. If y'all weren't so focused on the rape part you'd actually see good worldbuilding and storyline.
