Oh you’ve read their other works? Think I got up to 150-ish chapters in the novel before I threw in the towel. The author loooves going in circles and the pay off isn’t even that satisfying. Idk if you’ve read Salt Society, but that one, I enjoyed and actually made more sense despite the dragged out misunderstanding trope.
Only by the adapted manga. If the manga is this annoying, I wouldn't have lasted the novels.

LMAO i get you. to be fair, the story has its great moments before the author’s annoyingitis acts up again. it helps if you’ll let the manhwa marinate a bit. (bc spoiler: it WILL get rough)
Literally all of her stories are like this, especially the 'kiss me' ones (one universe).. she really likes misunderstandings & secret children but the regret/chasing arcs are always sooo underwhelming
Lmfaoooo I don’t remember them being this hideous. The novel’s gotta be one of the most frustrating stories I’ve ever read, I had to drop it. Now this chopped city makes me wanna drop the manhwa too (prolly will)
