A lot of people are unhappy about the semes not being romantically involved with each other or saying it isn't polyamory-
I understand where you're all coming from!! The semes are sort of like sex-friends who are dating the same person. I think if this series was longer and pretended to have any plot, I would be more disappointed since the romance between MC and the uke is underdeveloped and the relationship between the semes isn't romantic.
However, this is a smut series!! I think it's good at what it does. The characterization is quiet but it is there. It's only supposed to make you like the characters enough to want to see them bang. And I did want to see them bang! It gives you the barest amount you need, which I think is great for a short work that is only focused on one thing.
It's pretty clear the black-haired seme wanted someone to appreciate the uke with, and the mc wanted to be with the uke. They're all completely happy with the arrangement. Platonic bonds exist in polyamory- even ones where everyone in the relationship have sex. I would love to see more throuples that are all in love (in fact, send me any reccs you have... I want them!), but I also think that it's alright for that to not be what happens here.
That said, we do absolutely deserve more long-form works featuring healthy poly couples!!
