Twitter is where you realise media literacy died. Jo fans read with all these expectations and crashed and burned. I do like tho that some of them are slowly starting to admit they were swayed too much by social media takes and not their own comprehension of the story. I feel like fandom spaces have been infested with tourists who have ruined everything. I need yaoi fandoms to go back to not being woke truthfully. It's given these so called mature readers too much air in their heads to truly believe they're entitled to controlling the content of these stories. The only privilege a reader has is to drop the story and move on. I too have read bl for nearly 15 years now and I've never seen such bs. Back in the day we just moved on then maybe re-read with a fresh perspective but bullying the author and other readers is new stuff and I'm glad the sane one aren't allowing it.
