Their dads didn't approve of them being together mainly because they're both men and one of the guy is the son of a mafia (the taller one), taller guy killed himself because he didn't want his boyfriend to get hurt (rash decision), shorter guy sad + angry because taller guy promised to be with him forever but he killed himself instead so he followed suit
