I just finished reading, and YES you should pick it back up!!
Small SPOILERS: if I remember correctly there was only 2 other ancestors who loved Asha (and Asha didn't reciprocate those feelings I believe). Meanwhile the "original" guy, Arden, is actually the same person since the MC/Albert is his reincarnation (none of the other ancestors were reincarnations)

I remember I had dropped this because I didn’t like how his father and his two other ancestors??? were with Asha??? should I pick this back up???
