The problem is you annoying people like to misconstrue yaoi with gay representation. Yaoi/shounen ai written by women has been and will continue to have pornagraphic borderline homophobic undertones as long as gay marriage is illegal in the countries where they are written. And you annoying people dont want to acknowledge that!!
People keep recommending this manga as gay/queer rep but it is NOT!! Which is why these normies are so mad about the author stuff because they arent expecting you know... your average yaoi content.
Obviously what happened to the author is not ok but I blame the annoying "just drawings" "dont like dont read" squad who have forgotten that your average joe in a country where gay relationships are viewed as normal doesnt want to look at sexual DRAWINGS of gay teenagers.
